Strengthening Monitoring & Evaluation in Primary Healthcare

The Primary Healthcare System Strengthening Project (PHSEP) recently conducted a workshop for Medical Officers – Planning of all RDHS offices. This interactive session focused on enhancing the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework of the project, ensuring that healthcare initiatives are tracked effectively and deliver measurable impact.

A key highlight of the workshop was the training on the newly developed data collection tool, designed by PHSEP to streamline reporting and improve accuracy. By equipping Medical Officers practical knowledge and hands-on experience, the project is paving the way for more efficient, evidence-based decision-making across the healthcare system.

This initiative reflects PHSEP’s commitment to building capacity, strengthening accountability, and driving sustainable improvements in Sri Lanka’s primary healthcare services.
