On 11th December 2025, the 4th National Steering Committee Meeting of the Primary Healthcare System Enhancing Project (PHSEP) was successfully held at the Blood Bank Auditorium.
The meeting was jointly chaired by the Project Director of PHSEP and the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, the participation of key health officials and stakeholders.
This important gathering provided a platform to review the current status of the project, share progress updates, and discuss strategic directions. Several critical decisions were taken to further strengthen the implementation of PHSEP, ensuring that Sri Lanka’s primary healthcare system continues to evolve in line national priorities and global best practices.
The 4th Steering Committee meeting reaffirmed the collective commitment of the Ministry of Health and PHSEP leadership to deliver impactful reforms that will benefit communities across the country.
